Questions you might have

1 / What is peer listening? Is it like therapy?

Not quite. A therapist is a licensed professional who diagnoses and treats. I am not that - and I will never pretend to be.

Peer listening is simpler. It is a real conversation with someone who is fully present, completely non-judgmental, and has no agenda other than to hear you.

Think of it as the conversation you wish you could have with a close friend  - except this friend has no history with you, no opinion about your choices, and nowhere else to be.

2 / Is everything I say kept private?

Yes. Everything stays between us.

The only exception is if I have serious concern that you or someone else is in immediate danger - in that case I will always talk to you about it openly and point you toward the right help. Nothing happens behind your back.

Your name, your story, your sessions - none of it goes anywhere.

3 / What actually happens in a session?

We talk. That is genuinely it.

You can come with something specific on your mind or with nothing at all - just a feeling you cannot name. Either is fine. I will follow wherever you need to go.

No script. No structure you have to follow. No topic that is off limits. Just a real conversation at your pace.

Sessions are 45 minutes. I will check in gently at the end and send you a brief message the next day.

4 / How do I know if Isha Listens is right for me?

If any of these sound familiar - this is probably for you:

You feel lonely even though you are surrounded by people. You have things you want to say but nobody you feel safe saying them to. You do not need a therapist - you just need a human. You are tired of people giving you advice when you just want to be heard.

Not sure? Book the free intro call. Fifteen minutes, no commitment. You will know by the end of it.

5 / What if I am having a really dark day or feeling                  unsafe?

First - I am glad you are here and I am glad you asked.

If you are in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, please reach out to someone trained for exactly that moment.

I can sit with you on hard days - the ordinary kind where everything feels heavy. But if you are in genuine crisis, please reach out to the professional. You deserve the right support.
